Recently I talked to a subscriber who has a graphic design company. Over the years,  probably by "accident", his company has become the printing company of choice for  producing fundraising literature for prestigious private schools.

A narrow, narrow niche, to be sure. But he says there are many such schools in the  country, and he only serves a fraction of them.

Well here's a very natural "widget" he can create: He's not just a printer of brochures  (which are a commodity item); he's a valuable information source on fundraising tactics for private schools.

Being that information source, he can use Information Marketing to publicize his company; he can write articles for educational trade journals; he can do direct mail campaigns offering white papers and fundraising idea resources; and rather than charging money for this as most consultants would, he simply charges a premium price for a package that includes everything the customer needs.

(He might also want to consider charging some kind of nominal fee for seminars or consultations, and so position himself as even more of an expert. And he can offer schools an exclusive for their town at a premium price.)

Of course, being that he owns my marketing system, he's a newsletter subscriber, which means he's got an entire toolkit of marketing ideas in his hands. All he has to do is take the ideas that I teach, and apply them to fundraising for his clients.
